Should I consider how much fullness is for the pleated header style?

Yes. Pleated curtain fullness is different from regular curtain fullness because part of the fabric is already folded into permanent pleats. This means pleated curtains naturally require more fabric width to achieve a structured and full appearance.

For pleated header styles, we recommend the following fullness guide:

1X Fullness:
Completely flat with minimal drape. Not recommended for pleated styles.

1.5X Fullness:
Light fullness. Suitable if the curtains are mainly decorative or rarely closed, but may look slightly under-filled for pleats.

2.0X Fullness (Recommended):
Creates a balanced, elegant look with well-defined pleats and a naturally full drape. This is our most recommended option for most pleated curtain styles.

Please note:
The visual fullness may vary depending on fabric type, pleat style, and final curtain width.

What is stacking width?

The curtain stack width refers to the amount of space that curtains occupy when they are fully drawn or pulled open to one side of the window or doorway.

The stack-back size is an approximate measurement and may vary depending on the fabric, added linings, puddling, and the curtain rods, brackets, or rings used.

Should I purchase hooks for the pleated style?

Headers include Pinch Pleat, Tailor Pleat, Triple Tailor Pleat, Tape Pleat, Pinch Pleat with Back Tab, French Pleated, Flat Hooks, will come with adjustable pin hooks. Curtain rings or clip rings need to be purchased separately.

Are there instructions for the number of pleats for pleated curtains?

Pleats pin hooks quantity – For pinch pleat, tailor pleat style:
10 pleats for 50" width; 13 pleats for 72" width; 15 pleats for 84" width; 18 pleats for 100" width; 21 pleats for 110" width, 22 pleats for 120" width, 29 for 150" width. The width and space of the pleats may vary slightly depending on your track or pole length.

Is memory shaping suitable for all header styles or all fabric?

Memory shaping is not suitable for grommet, ripple fold, and soft top header styles, as well as Maillard, Rina Silk, Lora Silk, Mona Silk, Aura, and Meadow sheer fabrics.

These styles and materials are designed to naturally form and maintain their intended look through their own structure, drape, or heading construction. Because of this, additional memory training is unnecessary and will not improve the final appearance.

Do I need Body Memory Shaping for my curtains?

Memory training is an essential technique designed to give your curtains the ability to hold their shape and pleats neatly.
