Measure Width and Length Correctly
Roman shades can be inside mounted or outside mounted.
Considering the window frame depth is the first step.
①Min. Inside Mount Depth Requires 2 3/8 inches
② Headrail Size: 1 3/8 inches H x 2 3/8 inches D
③ Valance height: Valance height when shade height is 18 inches and over = 6 inches Valance height when shade height is less than 18 inches = 4 inches
④ Bracket Size: 1 3/8 inches H x 1 7/8 inches D
⑤ Pointed Screw Length (for securing the bracket into the window frame): 1 3/8 inches
⑥ Flat Head Screw Length (for attaching the wing nut): 1 1/3 inches

Which One Should I Choose?
Note on Deduction
- Guardrail width=Ordered width=Window frame width minus 3/8 inch
- For example, if your window frame width is 40", then you need to select a width of 39 5/8 ''(40 '' -3/8 ''=39 5/8 '')
- When placing an order, you will receive a blind with headrail width of 39 5/8" finally.
- Recommended window frame depth: 2.36 inches.
- A taller appearance.
- Outside window frame. No minimum depth requirement.Please add 2 to 6 inches to the measured width of the sash to avoid light gaps.
- For height, add 5 to 8 inches to the measurement.
